Kadhai mushroom

Ingredients
*453 gms white button mushroom halved (1 pound)
*1.5cups finely chopped onion
*1 cup onion made into 1" squares
*1 cup green capsicum made into 1"squares
*1 cup finely  chopped tomatoes
*1.5 tbsp tomato paste
*10 pieces ginger jullienne
*1tbsp ginger garlic paste
*1tsp kasturi methi
*1/4 cup oil
*Salt ( to taste )
*1/3cup water
For tempering
*2 bay leaf
*2 dry red whole chilli
*1/2 tsp whole cumin seeds
Dry spices
*1 tbsp karai masala
*1 tsp cumin powder
*1 tsp coriander masala
*1/2 tsp turmeric powder
*1.5 tsp kashmiri  Red chilli powder
* 1/2 tsp garam masala powder

Instructions: 
Begin by washing the button mushrooms under tap water
Take a kadhai and heat the oil. Add the whole cumin seeds , dry red chillies and the bay leaves .
Add the chopped onions and saute until brown
Now add the chopped tomatoes and saute until they just become mushy abd add the ginger garlic paste and saute until the raw smell completely disappears and oil begins to leave the side of pan . add the dry spices except the garam masala powder
Next add the tomato paste and give everything a good mix . Add the diced mushroom and mix them gently along with the bhuna masala.
Add the onion squares and mix well . The mushroom will begin to release juices at this stage . Add 1/3 cup water and saute for min.



Now add a green capsicum and give  everything a good mix . Cover the kadai and cook for 5 minutes over medium flame .
Add garam masala , kasuri methi and ginger julliennes. 
Serve hottt!!!😋♨♨
