#Crunchy#delicious#slightly sweet #crispy chilli potatoes

Ingredients
1 tbsp garlic paste
350 g potatoes
4 tbsp spring onions
2 tbsp red chilli sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp soya sauce
1 cup corn starch
1 tbsp black pepper
1/4 cup rice flour
Salt as per taste
Oil for frying
  For sauce : 2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 tbsp red chilly flakes
3 tbsp white sesame seeds
1 tbsp vinegar
1/4 cup water +1 tbsp corn flour mixed to make a slury
2 tbsp spring onions chopped
Method:
1. Wash potato fingers and set aside this removes any extra starch in potatoes
2. Mix together corn flour rice flour chilli powder chilli paste and coat the potato fingers evenly with this flour mix. heat oil in a kadai and deep fry potato fingers till the potato is half cooked remove the potato fingers on the tissue paper and let them cool .
3. For the secind coating make a medium thick batter with the rice flour and corn flour and pepper powder by adding just a few tbsp of water . Dip the half done fry in this batter and fry again till crisp and golden.
4. For preparing a sauce- heat 2 tbsp oil in another pan add chopped garlic and stir fry for a few seconds add chilly flakes and sesame seeds and saute for a min. Now add vinegar , soya sauce,ketchup,honey ,red chilly paste and salt and stir together . Mix corn flour with 1/4 cup water to make a slurry and add the mix in pan and stir for few seconds till it thickens.
5. Add the fried potato fingers and spring onions toss together so that they are coated evenly in sauce . Serve them immediately garnished with some more sesame seeds and spring onions.
 You may adjust the quantity of honey as per your taste and you can use the same recipe to make honey chilli cauliflower , chilli mushroom and honey chilli lotus stem etc.....
